New Jersey Stiffs Tesla and the Free Market

I don't own $TSLA. But New Jersey banning direct sales to consumers is wrong-headed. Let capitalism and free markets determine Tesla sales and demand, rather than some government regulation that limits consumer choice.

There. I said it.

And isn't Christie a Republican? Aren't the Republicans supposedly the champions of the free market?  What a crock!

There I go again…

Tesla said: "The (Christie) administration has decided to go outside the legislative process by expediting a rule proposal that would completely change the law in New Jersey. This new rule, if adopted, would curtail Tesla's sales operations and jeopardize our existing retail licenses in the state. This regulation would be a complete reversal to the long-standing position of NJMVC (New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission) on Tesla's stores."
