Verizon Dividend – Slowing or Growing - $T, $VZ

Here are some thoughts from the Fool site on Verizon vs. AT&T. These companies dominate the US mobile market, and Verizon subscriber growth has outpaced AT&T in recent quarters. Can Verizon translate this into cash payouts?

I am a customer of both. I will say that Verizon is the better wireless choice where I work and live, but the AT&T u-verse package is fantastic at home.

As an investment, I like both. There always seems to be a competition on which company you should own, VZ or T? (Like XOM or CVX?). This isn't picking a color on the roulette wheel. There isn't a reason both companies can't thrive and generate dividends.
