- Sun is laying off 4000 folks. They say this is 11% of their workforce. Man, I thought they were already down to something like 27 people after the dot-com crash. I guess I had that wrong. They have tons of folks. Sun plans to sell its Newark, Calif., campus and exit leased facilities in Sunnyvale, Calif. Paul Kedrosky over at Infectious Greed says "Not Enough."
