- TGIF! Fridays tend to move opposite the weekly trend as traders book profits ahead of the weekend. That seems to be what is happening today, but we'll have to see how things go into the close. Next week is options week, and if we take a look at the monthly playbook, if the week prior to options week is negative, we should see a rally next week.
- Of course, the playbook is only as good as the players running it; so if your new quarterback is Trent Green and he goes out behind a weak offensive line, then gets knocked out with a concussion early, it may not matter. Playbook-shmlaybook once Cleo Lemon gets behind center. Follow?
- You'd follow if you own a stock and news hits the wire that the CEO was escorted out of the building in handcuffs. Kind of like the QB going out, there.
- Ooh, Daunte Culpepper was on the practice field for the Dolphins today and was just escorted off. Trade? Released?
- 10-year Treasuries over 5%. You think the Fed will hike rates with the recent GDP number at .6%, CPI at 2.6%, real estate foreclosures increasing, and gasoline prices nearing $4? I sure don't think the Fed will be raising rates. That'd be CRAZY!!!
- Referrals... With TV season over, I'm noticing a decrease in the searches for Carrie Ann Inaba nude, and a pick-up in Maria Sharapova nude. Shows you folks short attention spans once you're not in the headlines or in the weekly TV line-up. The Lindsay Lohan nude search spike went away faster than a hangover after a few aspirin and some bottled water.
- You know, I've never reached out to the "other side" in my search engine tricks. Trent Green (nude, naked, topless, football, dolphins, chiefs, hung like a horse). LOL. "Shameless, shameless, shameless, Sgt. Carter."
