Some good news: CNN is reporting that Black Friday broke records, and that online sales were up 24%. Despite the worries about a recession -- while GDP is at 2% -- or Europe, folks are willing to spend cash on stuff.
My guess is that not all spending was for "gifts." I think we all have the tendency to do a little shopping for ourselves, too!

The good news keeps rolling here as U-Verse is having free movie channels all weekend. In addition, I finally finished the Jane Leavy book "Koufax" and am almost through with the George W. Bush book "Decision Points."
Now I want to go buy a Dodgers #32 jersey, ya know?
