• Yes, more Warrior Girls. If they believe, why can't we? We shouldn't underestimate the role of a belief system.
• Stocks relatively flat today. Quite a change from the ridiculous swings we saw in October.
• I was listening to Rob Black's podcast on Friday, and he mentioned that if folks who normally don't shop at Wal-Mart ($WMT) start shopping at $WMT, then credit card companies are watching this for "signs of trouble" and may lower credit limits. I don't know if true, but interesting...
• GM sales down 45%; Ford down 30%. If (when?) these companies go belly up, should the government step in with a bailout?
• Nope. I don't think so. American car companies made bad decisions on building gas guzzlers and giving huge benefits and pay to the unions.
• Toyota sales were also down 23%.
• Hey, remember just a few years ago when 0% interest rates were said to be stealing future sales? I wonder if that is a contributing factor as well.
