All Night Long (All Night)

  • It takes a little Viagra to go All Night Long (All Night), according to Bob Dole and Rush Limbaugh. And speaking of All Night Long, what's the over-under on the number of girls Rush nailed in the Dominican Republic?  You know, it's all funny and that.  But after I think about it, it makes me kind of sad.  You think he's lonely?  Maybe he should give Cindy Sheehan a call.   Reconcile their differences.  Strike a common bond.  "Need a camping buddy, Cindy?"
  • Say, nice ad for Viagra in the whole deal, too, eh?  Now THAT'S product placement advertising.  Here in this week's news we have AOL thinking about giving their service away for free and going to an advertising revenue model.  Hey, stick a little AOL in Rush's suitcase, baby.
  • More market stuff?  Semiconductors are sure having a rough go of it.  But take a look at the positive divergences on this retest for SMH.  Looks like they're trading sideways, but maybe gaining strength amid all the pessimism.  We'll see.  Sorry no chart, but go to Stockcharts and look at SMH.
  • In health, Cholesterol drugs may treat hepatitis C.  I always think it's interesting when we see an "unintended consequence."  Kind of like a shortstop throwing a ball to 1st base, and making a wild throw into the stands that hits a man on the head just as he was trying to steal a wallet from the guy standing in front of him.  Yeah, just like that.  Well good news for folks with hepatitis C.
  • I wonder how you recognize an employee for such a discovery?  "Well, Stan.  I always said you couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.  But this award is for hitting the broadside of your neighbor's barn."
  • This weekend?  RENO!  Yeah, can you imagine if I had taken that job at Wonderful Inc?  There would be no time for fun.   No Reno.   No jetskiing at Lake Shasta.  No kayak.  (Just got one today!).  It'd be work work work work.  Good grief!
  • By the way, you can find out lots of info on YouTube.  Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. was born June 20, 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama.  Good to know.  Assuming it's correct, of course.
  • Eh, final market thought.  Things look okay as I'm running scans here.  I dunno.  No worries for me.
