It Gets Even Awesomer!

• Wow, a day of fun in the sun! Skiing, boating, and jetskiing!  I am one worn out and tired muckpuppy today.  This week is one of my favorites of the year.  Like the Taco Town commercial from Saturday Night Live, it gets even awesomer!
• The market bombed yesterday.  The news was blaming $75 oil and the test missles from North Korea.  Those are always the handy headlines of the day to blame or support whatever happened.  Does the summer trading range continue?  Have the bears re-established their shorts on the bounce?  So far today, the market looks a little weak.  I remain 100% long and in high beta.
• The whole Rush in the Dominican Republic with Viagra story blew over quickly, as I suppose it was all legal enough.  I'd like to hear more about what he was doing down there.  Though, I suppose we know eh?  Booty call!
• Mexican leftist presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is challenging the election results.  Democrats in the US are blaming the Republicans here for another "stolen election."  Uh huh.  Whatever.  Can you imagine what would happen if that leftist won?  Would it be like having a North Korea on our border?  Would there be millions of Mexicans fleeing Mexico to the US?
• I think I'm going to get the Ray Davies CD.  I'm a big fan of The Kinks.
• Hey, AOL has figured out a way to make a bundle of cash!  They want to offer free high-speed internet!  Even though they'd be giving it away for free, they'd plan on making it up on volume!  The article says they'd lose up to $2 billion in subscription revenue by doing this.  So, er, uh...  I dunno how that'll work.
